Operations Geologist

Work within Exploration or Developement Company as Well site Geologist or Operations Geologist to apply my competences and experience acquired during my carrier in SONATRACH.

2000- 30/June/ 2008:Operations Geologist in Subsurface Department at Ourhoud Organization, an Association of 7 companies operating in the giant field of Ourhoud discovered in 1994 in Berkine Basin(Blocks 404a,405a,406a), Algeria.The partners includes : Sonatrach,Cepsa, Anadarko, BHP, Agip, LLE and Talisman.

March 1997- 2000:Compiled evaluations reports on Acreages located in Berkine and Timimoun Basins. Attended data rooms for potential partners in London mostly to promote blocks.

February 1995-March 1997:Geologist supervisor, seconded to Anadarko Corporation in Hassi Messaoud.

1986-January 1995:Chief geologist in in District II (Illizi Basin),Exploration Division.
I supervised a team of geologists and geophysicists and contributed in establishing Implantation and Final well reports, regional evaluation studies of the Illizi Basin. I contributed to some discoveries in Algerian Mining Domain.

1975-1985:Chief District in Hassi Messaoud, I was in charge of many activities
related to Geological Surveillance and Logistic
1971-1974:well site geologist.

Graduate as Engineer Geologist in 1971, Institut National Des Hydrocarbures de Boumerdes (INH).
Attended field trips, many seminars and courses in Algeria and abroad related to mainly Exploration and Development sectors.
