•Monitoring the construction works to control the material and construction quality regarding project specifications for each system and class.
•Reply for the RFI's (Request for Information's). Also responsible for the FCN's (Field Change Note’s) to solve the piping and support's problems which obstructs construction works according to the project specification and the design criteria, this including" the new revisions and as built"
•Familiar with API – ASTM –DIN & ANSI codes.
•Carries out repair or maintenance tasks as required and preparing the maintenance Schedule for all the Plant equipment.
•Provides technical advice on all aspects of mechanical facilities. Proposes improvements and modifications to units which are malfunctioning or working below required performance level.
•Change Control Ensure that all changes in are captured by the change control process.
•Reporting - In conjunction with Engineering, Construction and Commissioning and Business Services, monitor and control costs at all stages of the work and ensure cost reports and forecasting is in line with
•Monitors stock level of spare parts, tools and materials at warehouse Follow up on requisitions to ensure timely delivery. Recommend changes to stock level depending on work requirements. Initiates requisitions for all materials and spare parts.
•Piping checking, Reviewing and clearing the punch list before Hydro testing.
•Reading of drawings (P&ID-TD-isometric- spools )
•Receiving materials and inspections
•Supervises the activities of assigned technicians in mechanical maintenance unit according to company maintenance procedures and schedules, and ensures that work objectives and programs are implemented.
•Supervising and coordinating the blinding and valves insulations for the static equipments
•Fabrication & Erection:
Pipe rack piping,
Piping system (C.S, S.S, GRP, polyethylene, PVC & ductile cast-iron.),
Tanks ( fiberglass – steel ),
Steel structure (about 2000 tons of steel structure) and
Painting and coating all previous items if required .
