Plant operator- With 15 yrs Refinery experience both field and Control room and one year as Snr. DCS operator in Petrochemical plant in Saudi Arabia.

To secure an opportunity as Field, DCS operator,senior operator in a Refinery/Petrochemical/LNG plant and use the valuable experience and that which I will learn to improve my productivity, even as earn a descent living.

Refinery: Fifteen years and six months.
-Field operations; Equipment startups including pumps, compressors, furnaces, draining of vessels and knock out drums, taking readings, following up repair works.
-As panel board operator both on Yokogawa Centum XL and CS 3000, as per standard operating procedures, doing safe plant startups, steady plant control to ensure on specification products and shutdowns both normal and crush during emergencies.
-As senior operator, following up all maintenance jobs from isolations, hydrocarbon freeing, gas testing and preparing work permits before handover to engineering and closing permits after maintenance work, preparing for startups and initial close monitoring equipment to report any misbehaviors.
-As shift technical assistant (Deputy shift supervisor) training other junior colleagues on job both DCS and field, standing in for supervisory work in acting capacity.
-As first intervention team member, ensuring incidents are managed early as they happen so as to prevent escalations to major incidents that could otherwise lead to injuries to personnel (some of which could be fatal), equipment damage, loss of production and bad reputation to the company.
-As operations focal point during major plant turnarounds, ensuring plant preparations of plant (hydrocarbon and gas freeing, gas testing), and preparing appropriate work permits, prior to handing over to engineering for confined space entry, hot works, and other maintenance jobs, and as member of the startup team, doing prestart up checks, air freeing of plant equipment before re-introduction of hydrocarbons and closely follow-up equipment initial equipment behaviors for necessary corrections before engineering teams pullout.

Petrochemical:
Senior Board operator:One year.
-On the Ethylene Oxide plant, by using Yokogawa CS 3000 panel board, doing all control duties as per standard operating procedures and daily production instructions, taking into account all safety procedures and precautions to ensure production targets are fully met without compromising the safety of the people, equipment, and care for environment, all this achievable through constant co-ordination with the field operators through radio communication.
-Report writing at the end of each shift to facilitate detailed handover both written and verbal to the incoming shift teams.

-Stage one of a Diploma course in Mechanical Engineering (plant option)
