Instrument Supervisor/Engineer

Looking for the position of Instrumentation Engineer/Supervisor within a large Oil & Gas or Industrial project. Fully mobile, be able to work on a rotational bases or relocate with family.

Provide discipline technical support into Technical Integrity, Safety and Reliability improvements, New Engineering Projects and Technical Modifications. Maintain a primary focus on Change Control in compliance with Corporate HSE Standards, Russian Regulations, SHELL DEPs and Industrial Standards. Provide Commissioning support, Preparation and Verification of Commissioning Plans; supervise Commissioning and hand-over of equipment to ensure that Project milestones are safely met. Implementation of Maintenance Strategies and Procedures for Facilities in compliance with National & local Regulations, Company and Industrial Standards. Supervise quality of work done by technicians and contractors and advise technicians and contractors on technical matters. Assist in preparation & implementation of Maintenance Programs, including Campaign programs, in order to ensure Integrity, Safe & Reliable Operation & maximum Availability of the facilities. Raise SAP requests to develop detailed equipment Inspection & Testing Procedures. Development of Safeguarding Over-Ride & Inhibit Procedures in line with Operating Procedures. Maintain Technical Interfaces and Supervision of Manufacturers, Contractors, National & local Regulatory Bodies, Company and Industrial Certifying authorities. Ensure that Spare Parts and Material Purchase Orders have been prepared and monitor that Materials are supplied well in advance of the scheduled execution. Carry out Troubleshooting / Inspection to establish root causes of failures (RCFA) & assist to prepare Corrective Maintenance plans & detailed schedules, including materials & manpower resources. Raise a trip event & failure reports, record the causes of trip/failure and corrective actions implemented. Propose and develop reliability improvement projects for facilities. Prepare and implement TQs, including Job Packs for execution of the modifications as required. Review Engineering Design proposals, Studies, drawings and documentation. Validate Design/Red line As Build Drawings and provide input into Livelink via Document Control administration. Ensure key drawings and documentation is kept up date.
