As Site Engineer (Construction of GIS Substations)

The works include the following:-
- Installation of equipments of GIS based substations.

- Familiar with testing and commissioning including scheme check, CTs tests (Insulation, Ratio, Polarity, winding resistance, VA burden &magnet Curve), PTs tests (Ratio, Polarity, insulation, winding Resistance, VA Burden) GAS Tests (GIS gauge test and due point, purity test and leakage test ) CB tests (Insulation, conductivity, timing and function, max and min operation) BB Conductivity test, Disconnectors test , Measurannds ( MW, MVAR, V, A, F meter) ,functional tests and HV test of Areva F35 Gas insulated Switch Gear.


- Familiar with testing and commissioning including scheme check, functional test, HV test, CTs tests (insulation, ratio, polarity, , winding resistance, VA burden & magnet. Curve) , PTs tests (Ratio, Polarity, insulation, winding Resistance, VA Burden), CB tests ( Insulation, Conductivity, timing and function, max and min operations), Mech. Interlocking , BB Conductivity and Measurannds of MV (13.8kv) vacuumed and SF6 switch gears of ABB.

- Planning at site to carry out all schedules regarding construction of GIS substations.


- Clearance of deficiency points, pointed out by the client and consultant.

- Familiar with testing and commissioning of power transformers such as insulation resistance, winding resistance, excitation currents measurements, vector group, zero sequence impedance, turn ratio test , oil dielectric breakdown voltage test. Tape changer function test, control panel and fan function test.


- In power cable termination, power cable resistance tests and high voltage test.
