Responsabilities: Process Engineer from the distillation and lube oil units at CRP Amuay. -Coordinator of corrective and preventive actions (Implementation of the quality system- ISO-9000) - Review, development and modification of PFD's and PI & D s. -Design of control valves. - Risk analysis (HAZOP, What if). Study and selection of new internal packed towers and trays. Relevant Achievements – Evaluation and design of new facilities for processing Slop in a naphta splitter unit with earnings of 60 MM $ and savings of 260 MM $ - Evaluation and installation of new internals in the T - 2 X PVAY-1 (vacuum distillation unit), achieving an increase in the yield of side cut # 3 side of 6%, representing gains of the order of the 20 MM $ per year . Evaluation and design of new facilities for segregating HCCN production from HDAY-1 unit towards TK-5, with earnings in the order of 50 MM $ / year due to the increase of a monthly cargo for export (September -December 2007). Evaluation and design of new facilities for processing slop trough the PSAY-4/NFAY-1/HDAY-1 units. Actualization of the Simulation of the Distillation Units and Naphta Splitters in CRP Amuay with PRO II with provision.

Main responsibilities:
• Monitoring: Make a monthly report from the process units, indicating load, yields, operational events, bottlenecks and recommendations to improve the throughput of the units. Daily visits to the field to detect deviations. Share the information with the operations people and solve the problems in teamwork.
• Design: Specify new equipments (Drums, heat exchangers, towers internals, pumps) and facilities to increase the units flexibility and throughput.
• Inspections: During the turnarounds of the units inspect the main equipments (Towers, drums, lines) and made sure that are in optimal conditions for the next run.
• Evaluating and Design of control strategies: Evaluate the existing control strategies and designing of new ones, trying to minimize the process variations and bottlenecks.
• Turnarounds: Team work to define the scope for the main objectives for the unit .
• Correctives and preventives actions Coordinator: Review of the administrative procedures of the organization, detecting improving areas. Attending internals and external audits.
