Procurement Engineer

To direct, supervise and control provision of centralized commercial development activities to meet in cost-effective and time efficient manner all company’s technical, construction, maintenance and general services contracting requirements.

As an engineer experienced with EPC project, trained, certified PTK -007 Rev. 1 and Bapenas , in response to manage the procurement process from receiving MR from engineering, issue inquiry (complete with type of contract to be applied) to the approved bidders as per the project vendors list with auction selection type, receive bids, technical / commercial clarification meetings, commercial evaluation and issue the purchase order to the successful bidder after confirmation from management (BP MIGAS), include with expediting approval, shipping monitoring/custom clearance.
For your additional information my duties are start from Engineering, development of construction strategy and procedures, constructability / commissioning / operation reviews, logistics, planning, and site management.
Some of them are developed electrical power plant and electrical emergency back-up.

Take a lead to maintaining effective communication and co-ordination between construction/production team, client and vendors.
To ensure that goods and service requirements are realistically quantified and incorporated into the project specification and planning system.
