Finance Manager – Information Office North Africa & Middle East (NAME)

From August 2008 onwards working as Finance Manager with Information Office and is responsible for managing the reporting requirements of 20 countries across North Africa & Middle East.

Major Projects/Assignments;

• Setting up the teams (includes 7 member based in Dubai & 2 in Egypt & 2 in Morocco) and managing the process for providing the Right information at Right time to the Right people for Supply Chain (SC), Customer Development (CD) and Brand Building (BB) teams across NAME as well as to the regional head office for AAC region.

• Assist Finance Director, NAME in developing the strategy document for next 5 years and tracking of actuals vs. the targets. On time and in full information to right people to take the corrective actions.

• Successfully implement the process of Operating Cash Flow (OCF) calculation and reporting across NAME. Setup the protocol of issuing the NAME wide OCF commentary that earlier done at Business Units levels.

• Delivery of Supply Chain Booklet containing all the SC related information across NAME within the short span of 3 months.

• Liaise with outsourcing partner in India to set up a process to compile a single source of information for the board overseeing NAME countries as well as making sure to fulfil the reporting requirements of the business unit managements of 4 business units across NAME.

• Setting up the process and delivery of (with the help of outsourcing partner in India as well as local Marketing Teams) NAME wide Market Share reports within the agreed timelines.

• Played a vital role of Team leader and trainer during implementation of next phase of SAP (FICO Module) across Gulf & KSA. Trained 50+ people on SAP with 95%+ passing rate.

• As required, played a role of in-house SAP consultant for FI & CO.

• Handling the external and internal Audits.

• Qualified as Chartered Accountant (CA) after clearing all exams in June2009. (Second Last part of exams was cleared in Dec 2001)

August 2003 Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants

• Cleared the final exams of this accounting body and became Associate Member since 2003.

July 1996 Bahaudin Zakria University, Multan, Pakistan

• Cleared Bachelors degree exams in “A” grade with Double Maths & Physics as major subjects
