•To work closely with the engineering consultant team to stress need for design validation and appropriate discipline check is completed in accordance with engineering procedures.•To instigate and conduct project ''kick off'' meetings.•Technical bid evaluation and preparation of technical comparative statements of Bids, preparation of technical queries, prepare response to the bidder queries, prepare technical bid recommendation (TR) note for the placement of Order.•Review of vendor drawing and documents of various packages which includes field instruments like pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, oxygen analyzer, pig detector, corrosion coupons, Flowmeter , foundation field bus instruments, flame detectors, gas detectors, open path gas detectors. Blow down, shut down, motor operated valves and HSSD system (high sensitive smoke detection system).•Review FAT procedures, EFAT procedures, SIT procedures, interface testing procedures for topsides.
•Review, comment inter-discipline drawings and documents such as P&IDs, layout drawings, data sheets, loop diagrams, Logic diagrams, system interconnection, system architecture, I/O list, BOM, cabinet drawings etc.
•Review, comment soak testing procedure, regression testing procedure of Subsea control system (IconSCU), TUTU, TCTU, and EPU.•Resolution of technical issues and finalization of engineering documents and drawings.•The monitoring and control of project performance against budget, schedule, and quality and safety requirements and reporting of same to our management.The maintaining of close contact with respective contractors throughout the project to ensure satisfactory reaction to our needs or criticisms. •The identification of changes in the scope of work and ensuring that appropriate change requests are current and adequate. •Managing discipline engineering teams in the delivery of work scopes through regular progress meetings and by facilitation where discipline issues require discussion and resolution. •Offshore implementation readiness activities ensuring that work packs, materials and the appropriate workforce are in place to execute the work. •To issue instructions to proceed with the work to all relevant project personnel. •Maintain overview of material requisition and procurement status for projects.
