Quality Engineer

Seeking a position where more than 15 years of domestic and international experience in engineering design, project management, procurement, commissioning and maintenance in the field of Quality Assurance and Control will add value to organization.

EXPERIENCE
Quality Engineer (QA/QC Engineer): Technip France Abu Dhabi (Apr’08 - Oct’09)
Managed overall site quality management activities of three LNG construction projects composing of several vendors and subcontractors
•Coordinated and assisted the Project QA / QC Manager for the proper and effective implementations of the Quality Management System;
•Developed the Quality Plans and Audit Plans in accordance with the Contract requirements, in liaison with the Head Office QA Manager. Conducted periodical audits.
•Prepared, established and implemented project QA/QC procedures as well as the Inspection & Test Plans as referenced in the Project Quality Plan.
•Liaised with Construction Team and ensured all inspection and testing requirements are fulfilled and completed, Quality was achieved by meeting the client’s requirements in Piping/Welding, Painting/Insulation, Structural, Static/Rotating Equipments and Electrical/Instrumentation erection activities.
•Developed and Established a system for the compilation of As-Built records/ Dossiers (including paper and electronic data) and that these are compiled to Client satisfaction.

Quality Assurance Engineer: Chiyoda Corporation Yokohama Japan (Jun’06-Jan’08)
Managed overall quality management activities for engineering and procurement activities of LNG projects
•Supported the Project Quality Manager with the development, review, approval and issue of the Project Execution Plan, and other supporting project management deliverables.
Provided QA input during pre-qualification, tendering, contract award and post award activities, including evaluation and assessment of Contractors’ & Suppliers’ QA systems, QA plans and QA resources to ensure compliance with Company’s QA requirements.
•Executed quality assurance audits as required by the PQP. Audits included First Party (internal) audits and Second Party (external audits), and expedited closure of actions resulting from these audits.
