Job responsibility:
• Supervising of Graphic, Digital archiving and Filling.
• Exploration Data Management, Development & Administration, including:
o Creating, updating, and maintaining consistent datum/units and troubleshooting/fixing data errors when they occur project files.
o Loading data (Seismic, Well, Culture) to relevant project databases (Openwork, ArcGIS, Geographix, Petra etc.) and transfer across systems.
o Ensuring that data is loaded according to relevant procedures and standards.
o Verifying that the data within the project data store meets any quality criteria specified.
o Increasing data management efficiency by reducing time spent by users searching for Geosciences data.
o Carrying out periodic checks on the completeness, validity and quality of data stored in the project data store.
o Advising users on good data and database practices (e.g. version control, deleting log files, capturing interpretation data) and implementing any agreed actions on the user’s behalf.
o Handling, keeping updating and transferring data between Local office and international office.
o Deployment of new technology.

• GIS Analyst, Digital Mapping & Cartography, including:
o Creating, updating, and maintaining GIS Projects using Data manipulation and spatial data processing for digital mapping & cartography (satellite imagery, digital aerial photo mosaics, seismic surveys, surface geology studies, subsurface and cross section interpretations and images, well locations, and existing infrastructure information).
o Creating subsurface grid from different set of data & QC using Spatial Analyst.
o Bundling 3D ARGIS subsurface projects using grid, Fm tops, facies.
o Design Field Trip, army scouting trip permit. Help Manager decision for mine clearance area using Satellites & Topographic Maps.
o Will collect and retrieve information from spreadsheets or workgroup databases and/ or Enterprise IT GIS databases (Probe, WoodMac, IHSEnergy, EGPC DATA, Free Source and Bid Round).
o Maps, Seismic & Logs Digitizing (ArcMap, NeuraMap, NeuraLog, Didger etc.).
• Preparing reports and presentations (Adobe, Microsoft, Corel etc.).
• Delivering GIS training for end-users.
• Development and testing of Company's own software.
