• Supervisory job for rover operator in the field work.
• Assist the panel operator during start up/shut down and emergency.
• Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly plant reports.
• Involved in SAT & FAT of DCS with vendor.
• An experience of working on DCS ( Foxboro-invensis and ABB ) & PLC ( Simens ).
• Involved in loop & logic checking of various package units and plants.
• Prepare the plant for maintenance when required, accompany the instrument /mechanical / electrical technicians to explain defects / defaults ensuring safe preparation of equipment for routine planned maintenance, and tests such repaired equipment to ensure smooth efficient operation.
• Maintain adequate stock of chemicals and other items, endorse loading and delivery notes and maintain adequate house keeping according to safety regulations.
• Preparation of chemical consumption and stock reports consumption and stock report on daily, weekly & monthly basis.
•
• Handover/takeover equipments for maintenance.
• Positive isolation of equipments by Blinding as per standard blinding diagram.
• Signing Safety work permits including risk assessment as a field supervisor for maintenance of equipments.
• An experience of Planned & Emergency Shut-down/Start-up.
• An experience of an emergency shut-down like total/partial power failure & Earthquake.
• Ensure fire and gas detection and fire fighting equipments are operational, carry out fire fighting in case of fire and major leakage until the area is taken over by higher authority. ( Role as on sense commander)
• Responsible for quick response during minor/major hydrocarbon leakage and Fire-fighting.
• Communication and co-ordination with control room, auxiliary fire squad during fire & leakage as a shift in-charge.
• Responsible working with all Personnel Protection Equipments like helmet, Safety shoes, Safety goggles, Hand gloves and special equipment like Birthing apparatus set, chemical protection apron.
• An experience of working accordingly HSEMS.

• Passed Diploma in Chemical Engg. With 1st class (Distinction) from Dharmshih Desai Institute of Technology-Nadiad-Gujarat in April-1994.
• Passed Certification examination of Quality control & ISO- 9000 from AIIMS ( Chennai ) in Aug.2000

• Training for fire fighting and Health safety & environment procedure adopted in refinery / petrochemical plants conducted by M/S Reliance Industries ltd.
• Operational training for refinery / petrochemical plants.
• First-aid training conducted by M/S Reliance Industries ltd.
• Equipment training conducted by M/S UOP.
• Operational training of AXENS reformer and regeneration.
• Operational training of ebra compressor by vendor.
• Special refining operation training- ENSPM conducted by IFP-france for operation specialist.
• Vendor training for various equipments
