Marine Engineer - Technical

Looking for new engineering experience in a new working environment. Also wanted to improve self working skill to meet the essential criteria required by the oil/gas field.

Worked on board lng vessel as a watch keeping engineer. Vessel powered by 60 bar boiler pressure and steam turbine. responsible for maintenance and operation of steam plant and its ancillary system. also ensure all engine room machinery's electrical equipment maintained in a good working order.

higher national diploma in marine engineering - south tyneside college, uk.

STCW 95 regulations III/1, medical first aid, advanced fire fighting, proficiency in survival craft, gas tanker operation, personal safety and social responsibility.

I've Graduated in December 2004 with HND Marine Engineering, from South Tyneside College in UK, and posses Certificate of Competency at operational level, with following criteria:

a. Controlling the operation of the ship and care for persons on board
b. Marine Engineering
c. Electrical, electronic and control engineering
d. Maintenance and repair

Upon graduated, I was put to work onboard merchant ship by my sponsoring company till the present day. I enjoy taking on engineering work such as maintenance & repair of auxiliary machinery, fault finding of machinery & electrical equipment, and keen to learn more on engineering matter to improve myself further.

Has been describe as reliable by my superior, I can perform maintenance job with minimum supervision and will try my best to complete the task successfully within quality time. I will have no problem in being sent anywhere outstation, and will have no problem in adapting to the new working environment.

During my student period, I enjoy in doing sports activity such as long distance run in athletic as well as football. Represented my school and college, with hardly come home without any silverware. My enthusiastic involvement in many activities outside of the academic circle has served me well in nurturing my leadership and communication skills, which are essential to succeed in the working world.
