Professional Experience
I have Nine (9) full years of experience in the Marine/Shipping Industry including the Oil/Gas Petroleum and the Gaming/Casino Industry as part of the companies' support, administrative and supervisory team.
Among the companies I have worked with are those high ranking Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation and Shell Exploration, Casino Filipino and A.P. Moller - Maersk.
In year 2000, after I graduated from college, I worked as an Administrative Assistant for 3 years in a Marine Hull Insurance Adjusting Firm. I also worked with Shell Petroluem as a Contracts Administraive Assistant for their Procurement Department. During my tenure in Pilipinas Shell Petroleum, I gained knowledge in the globally-known and used SAP R/3 System and Vendor Maintenance. After which, I transferred to the country's only legally-operating Casino owned and controlled by the Philippine Government, the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) or popularly-known as Casino Filipino. I fully gained my knowledge in customer service while I am an employee in the Casino for three (3) long years.
I have an ample experience in customer relations, working and dealing with different nationalities. Among the nationalities I have worked and dealt with are Danish, British/English, Finnish, Malaysian, Chinese, Singaporean, Vietnamese, African, Indian, French, Italian, American.
To date, I am the only Executive Assistant of Maersk Global Service Centres here in Manila, Philippines. My exact designation is Executive Assistant to the Managing Director.
Currently, I am also solely handling the Travel Desk of the company which also requires me to be diplomatic, tactful and to always maintain composure. Apart from the Travel Desk I also am handling the company’s US Dollar Petty cash amounting to USD5,000 per week. I also handled the Petty Cash Philippine Peso (local currency) amounting to PHP200,000 per week. At Maersk, as an E.A., Petty Cash Handler and Travel Desk Handler I mainly use SAP R/3 to perform my duties. I use SAP R/3 for the Travel Expense Management. I handle Accounting duties as well releasing the funds for the travelers, checking and computing liquidations and reimbursements, processing fund transfers, PCF maintenance and budgeting including handling the process of purchasing travel requirements for all travelers.
Eductation
I am a graduate of Business Administration Major in Economics in year 2000; an undergraduate of Masters in Business Administration with remaining 18 units in one of the leading state universities in the Philippines. In year 2008, I graduated from Ateneo de Manila and Maersk's "Step-Up Program (Strategic Training and Education Program Unleashing Potential/Mini-MBA) with a Diploma in Business Process Outsourcing. I also have several Trainings which will be elaborated on a separate note and will be listed on my uploaded resume.
