‘Capillary trapping and trapping capacity of sandstones reservoirs in context to CCS’
a)Assigned an experimental project on determination of capillary trapping capacity of different type of sandstone cores and study of different parameter affecting it, experimental analysis of different properties of core and their variation with various parameters.
b)Worked as Research Trainee in Petrophysical Laboratory under Prof. Martin J. Blunt/ Dr. Stefan Iglauer, Head of Department, Earth Science and Engineering/ Research Associate in Petrophysical Lab.
2.Summer Training Ankleshwar, Mehsana and Ahemadabad Asset of ONGC 6 weeks
(12th May 2008 to 20th June 2008)
We visited different production installations like GGS, CPF, ETP and desalting plant. We observed the different operations like drilling, logging, cementing, completion, stimulation, fishing and setting of packer. We visited different workshops and laboratories of ONGC, which enhanced our understanding toward various practical aspect of petroleum engineering.
