Actively involved in engineering design work, which includes preparing Invitation to Bid (ITB),technical specifications, data sheets, various electrical equipment sizing calculations, electrical system study (short circuit), electrical layouts (single line diagrams, power, lighting,
earthing, substation layouts, hazardous area classification, cable routing), material take-off(MTO) etc.

Position held: Electrical Engineer (EPCM consultant)
• Produced basic engineering deliverables i.e. single line diagrams,substation layouts,preliminary main cable routing, hazardous area classifications, load calculations, cable sizing, preliminary equipment datasheets & specifications.
• Produced detail engineering deliverables i.e. single line diagrams, substation layouts,switchboard schedules, hazardous area classifications, cable connection diagrams,cable sizing, load calculations, transformer sizing, cable trench sizing, detail equipment datasheets & specifications, material requisitions, earthing layouts, power cable layouts, cable schedules, cable drum schedules.
• Reviewed engineering drawings produced by drafters
• Performed technical evaluations of vendor bids of various electrical equipment
• Reviewed, commented and approved various electrical vendor drawings
• Represented project team for factory acceptance tests (FAT) for switchgears (Tamco Malaysia), transformers (Brush, UAE) & HV motors (ABB Milan).
• Provided input for preparing project schedules and provided regular updates for progress monitoring
• Supervised and actively participated in equipment installation and testing by subcontractor/vendors.
• Provided engineering support to resolve issues during construction & commissioning
• Lead pre-commissioning activities like motor solo run
• Supervised as-built drawings production based on red line mark up from
site/contractors
