• Sort-out various technical matters with Customers.
• Dealing with Westinghouse as contractor, and dealing with China Nuclear Industry 5th Corporation as owner for jobs.
• Support to Product group at Pre-manufacturing stage and identify developmental needs.
• Decide manufacturing processes for various joints (e.g. SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, Stud welding etc.) and design weld joints accordingly.
• Selection, estimation of various consumables procurement from local/foreign sources.
• Development of welding procedures for new materials and procedures to meet requirements of various codes and customer specifications.
• Developed Welding Procedures for CS, SS, Duplex stainless steel, Dissimilar joints with ASME & AWS codes.
• Knowledge of ASME codes: ASME SEC-IX, SEC-II-C & A, ASME SEC III-NE.
• Knowledge of AWS codes: AWS D1.1, AWS D1.6, and AWS A2.4.
• Provide manufacturing technology to shop.
• Preparing Testing Plan to include all testing requirements of code and customer specification and thereby ensure desired quality.
• Training and qualification of welders.
• Quality control and surveillance
• Trouble-shooting on shop floor.
• Provide support and resolution for site problems.
• Handling the most critical jobs of SNPEMC, i.e. AP1000 Nuclear Power Plant Jobs like structure Modules, Containment Vessel, etc.

Bachelor of engineering including Welding, Metal Material Science and mechanical science.
