Professional Experience
Supervised and conduct installation of instruments, field calibration, loop checking, pre-commissioning, functional testing, commissioning / start-up and maintenance of process measurements and control instruments. Attend emergency call during breakdown of equipments and/or systems.
Work on instruments and/or system consists of evaluation of the instrumentation system used for process monitoring and/or controls and alarm systems. Perform factory / site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT), testing and commissioning of instrumentations, electronics and electrical equipments, D.C.S system, P.L.C system, Shutdown system, Fire and Gas system, vibration monitoring system and Flow Computer metering system. Bench and/or field calibration of instruments such as Honeywell/Rosemount X’meters, vortex control valves, fisher Rosemount DVC series control valves, coriollis, ultrasonic and magnetic flow instruments. Etc.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and calibrate various type of mechanical, Electro-pneumatic control instruments and electronics control system through interfacing with DCS, PLC, VMS, and PCS. Control instrument commonly used in automatic control process system like flow, pressure, liquid, levels, analyzers speed/rotating machine, vibration and temperature control system instrument. Install pneumatic lines, cables and wiring as necessary. Test and calibrate various type of mechanical, Electro-pneumatic transducers, transmitters, indicators and controllers which regularly involve integration of components such as input/output of the transmitter, computing relays, combining relays and characterizing relays to effect simultaneous control of air, fuel, steam and water flow, liquid levels utilizing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and electro-pneumatics.
Establishes work methods, production controls, quality assurance and performance standards. Prepare calibration responsibility, determinations, material deficiency reports, technical order, improvement reports, and request for special training, training quality reports, and modification proposals. Uses theories of operation, block diagrams, schematics, pictorial drawings logic, trees and software diagnostics.
Perform factory acceptance testing / site acceptance testing.

• Ultrasonic Testing Level II Certified in accordance with ASNT’s Recommended Practice, SNT-TC-1A(Latest Edition) (2005), SETSCO-Singapore
