Instrumentation and control engineer

Objectives: Responsible Senior Instrumentation and Control Systems Specialist position involving Design Development, and Implementation of Instrumentation and Control Systems from conceptual design to commissioning.

. Over 4 years of Project Design, Procurement, Implementation, Construction, Commissioning and Maintenance experience in the field of instrumentation and control systems used in the oil and gas industries .
. Over 19 years of Project Design, Procurement, Implementation, Construction, Commissioning and Maintenance experience in the field of instrumentation and control systems used in the chemical plants.

• Feed phase and detailed design experience including: sizing and selection of in-line instruments, automatic generation of instrument specification sheets and instrument index using “Intools” software, generation of marshaling panels and junction boxes wiring diagrams, control panels power supply sizing, cable schedule, instrument loop diagrams, installation details, logic diagrams and construction work packages.

• Preparation of Technical Specifications, Purchase Orders, Technical Bid Evaluation for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Fire & Gas Detection Systems, Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD), Gas Compressors Control Systems, Burner Management Systems (BMS), Local Control Panels, and SMART Electronic Transmitters. Review and approve Vendor’s Documents, Input to P & IDs.
