EMPLOYMENT
2001 – 2009 Sasol Synfuel Secunda – Turbo Control Systems.
I worked on a shut down at Sasol Secunda Plant during their annual yearly shutdown. I worked on retrofitting compressors and steam tubines control systems with the latest electronic technology, I liked the job impressed the boss and they asked me to join the team on a permant basis.
My job was mostly to do retrofits and renewals on compressors and steam turbines. I have worked mainly with Moore now SIEMENS control products and with Compressor Control Corporation control products.
Job discription was simple jou do everything and so I did, from project admimistration to implementation to commissining to troubleshooting and maintenace including standby. My duty’s were as follow:
• Ensuring that the project is fanancialy viable
• Designing the new system to be implementation
• Producing budget and controlling the financials for the project
• Procurement and expiditing of spare and equipment
• Hazop of project
• Technical specification compilation
• Quality assurance / control

2001 – 2001 Osborn MMD – Samancor “Metalloys” plant raw and final product handling system.
I worked at Osborn on contract base for the planning and accounting of the Metalloys phase one and two projects. The projects is expected to be completed at the end of May 2001.

1998 – 2000 Project Manager Escom / TSI MWP
I started work in the beginning of July 98 on two projects on the KGWS pipeline namely the Flow Meter Upgrade project and the Cathodic Protection project. Both projects ran simultaniuosly and were completed in August 2000. My duty’s were as follow:
