Inspection before, during and after welding

 Experienced in the running, testing, and reviewing of welding procedure qualifications in a range of materials and welding process
 To monitor effective welding quality performance and fabrication shops by evaluating and challenging inspection findings on basis of own inspections and know-how.
 Witness inspection activity WQT, PQR and Monitoring welding activities with respect to fit-up, weld geometry, preheating, electrodes, filler wires, consumable inserts, weld sequence and weld visual inspection Also Welder qualification and testing To ASME-IX, API 1104 & AWS.D1.1
 Training session to welders regarding weld repair, causes and appreciation of the factors influencing the formation of weld defects and remedial action to prevent it.
 Review and Closing NCR’s on technical matter welding /mechanical
 Experienced for ensuring the correct NDE & PWHT method was used for various piping materials and weld configuration
 Interpretation of UT, MPT, PT and positive material identification (PMI ) as per relevant acceptance criteria, codes and standards
 Familiar with codes and standards such as (API 1104, ASME SEC-V, ASME SEC-IX, ASME II SEC A & C, B31.3, B31.1, AWS D1.1,…..etc
 Verify welding consumables control, welding control records, certificates, and such.
 Review all welding materials control and material segregation for compliance with project requirements.
 Dimension inspection of pipe that will be used for manual and automatic (GMAW) welding.
 Problem solving of Automatic welding (GMAW) and evaluation with welding engineer to reduce defect after welding.
 To carry out duty of welding inspector : before, in process and after welding.
