My key strengths are in Procurement, Material Coordination,Quotation analysis and Engineering reviews.I have worked as Material co-ordinator for 1 year with Greatship Global Energy Services(GGES) involved in the construction and commissioning of offshore drilling rigs (jack up) at Keppel FELS yard in Singapore. I have liased with suppliers regarding supply of rig machinery & equipment spares, safety attire, fabrication items,galley equipments,accommodation outfittings, electrical and electronic supplies, medical supplies, catering items, publications,container rentals and other spares. Working with tight deadlines and stringent budget controls, we managed to save around US$ 100,000 for Greatship by sourcing alternate vendors, timely follow ups, indepth market survey and strong technical negotiations.
I was with Hitachi Chemical (S)Pte Ltd for 12 years before I joined Greatship Global.
In Hitachi, I was associated with engineering services(UL, spec review, prototype building, design for manufacturabilty) and front end sales support(Engineering quotes) for PCB(printed circuit board) manufacturing. Here I was saving the company atleast US$ 25000 per year, by using cheaper raw materials and optimized panel layouts
