Job description and responsibilities:

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of all Electrical and instruments equipments and facilities.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all power generation and distribution equipment, i.e. generator and engine controls, SCRs, switchgear, transformers, and others.
• Maintain an adequate supply of spares in order to fulfil maintenance requirements.
• Carry out maintenance and repair on electrical components of drilling equipment, i.e. Driller¡¦s console, DC drilling motors, TDS-11SA Top Drive, Draw works, Mud pumps rotary table and others
• Inform Chief Electrician when there is need to re-order.
• Inform Tool pusher and other department heads of any technical problems or limitations that may cause or affect the safe operation of the rig.
• Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with company disciplinary procedures.
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance on electrical equipments and facilities.
• Assist some service company to installed their equipments as follows: Schlumberger, Haliburton, Brandt NOV and others.
