1. Review, Assess and Approve the HSE Plan & all Health, Safety and Environment related documentation ( including Risk Assessments, Safety method statements and Safe System of Work) developed by Main contractor to ensure compliance with applicable statutory and Client/PMT’S contractual requirement.

2. Organizing Internal (HSE induction) and external training programs for concerned parties based on project requirements.

3. Undertaking regular HSE inspections ensuring Corrective/preventive actions by main contractor on identified non compliances.

4. Assisting the contractor/s in managing the Emergency preparedness program activities, investigating accidents/incidents, preparing safety alerts with details of lessons learnt and communicating the same to all concerned to avert recurrence.

5. Organizing HSE meeting with contractor/s and attending HSE meeting Organized by Client/PMT as the case may be.

6. Audit the Contractor HSE Management system (including policy, strategy, procedures, training, auditing and review) on a periodical basis and suggest measures for continuous improvement.

7. Monitoring and evaluating HSE Performance and management of project risks on a continuous basis.

8. Liaising with Legal Authority in coordination with Client, PMT and main contractor to ensure compliance with all EHS legal requirements ( issue like NOC’s, COC’s. Approvals etc.,) based on project requirement.

9. Staying up to date with changes to applicable EHS Legislation and emerging issues/
trends in HSE management system concepts analyses and communicates the impacts
to all concerned parties.

10. Represent the company in HSE seminars/workshop organized by professional
organization and devising plains to promote HSE awareness among staff and other interested parties related to the project.
