COMSEC manager for the HHC382 Aviation Battalion stationed at Ft. Bragg.
Attached to the 18th AVN BDE and was deployed to Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) in Afghanistan, OEF 2, OEF 3, and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) in Iraq; a total of 5 deployments where I set up tactical communications operating centers for battalions and brigades.
Was responsible for repairing, maintaining, and the accountability of tactical communication systems worth 3 million dollars.
I was responsible for 150 phone drops and setting up computer and wire diagrams during my deployment to OEF 3.
I was responsible for equipping over 60 Humvee vehicles and 8 CH-47 Aircrafts with radio communications and Blue Force Trackers.
I have trained and mentored soldiers in the installation and use of antenna farms, air and ground communications, and maintaining the C-2 Aircraft.
8 years experience installing, repairing, and programming tactical voice communications, including the replacement of power systems.
Overlooked functions relating to generator operations.
Experience in general security, including gate guard duty, tower guard duty, and air support QRF (Quick Reaction Force).
