Equity bank ltd: Marketing Manager (December, 2007 to Current)
1.December 2007 to June 2008 : Responsible for Business Growth and sustenance in Equity Bank Harambee Branch during which the Deposit level increased from 1.25b to 2.2b Ksh.
2.July to current :Donholm Branch: July 2008 to current- Managed to mobilise deposits to 520m by December 2009 and a customer base of 31,000
3. Been involved in all new Equity Bank branches, launching in Kenya and Uganda.
Duties Include:
Creating a profile of prospects, qualifying them and booking meetings with an objective of introducing them Equity Bank . My personal Target is 6 meetings a day to achieve good results.
Preparation of proposals. This is a key tool in introduction of the bank,profile and the products.. I have managed to build strong relationships with clients by visiting them listening to them and forwarding complaints to relevant department for immediate action.
Creating the critical link between organizations, individual clients and the Company to ensure that no unforeseen detach happens and all clients enjoy full benefits of the available products effectively.
Preparation of Daily and weekly report that gives details on Sales achieved(deposits and client base) both for the week and the month, Hot Leads, and new prospects. This gives focus and direction on what is expected and at what time of the month or year in the sales process.
Growing the number of clients I handle through participation in promotions and getting new prospects and while still servicing existing clients: so far I have successfully participated in launch of the following branches:
