• Job description

1.Check material certificates to be sure that material grade match with the projects specs.
2.Make visual check on the material and deal with the surface discontinuity according to EN 10163.
3.Check items marking, cutting and edges preparation.
4.Check correct joints design according to the project WPS.
5.Check welder’s qualification cards.
6.according to WPS check kind of welding process, kind of filler metal, preheat temperature if required, post weld heat treatment if required, shielding gas if required.
7.visual check on welded joints
8.check the required NDT for joints, make requests to finish it
9.check the reports and deal with rejected joints to repair it
10.check post weld heat treatment if required
11.check items drilling
12.Dimensional check on items before and after welding according to the shop drawings and the applicable codes.
13- Interpretation for RT films.

14-Prepare test package for pipe lines according to customer test limits which include
a) Welding data sheet
b) VT reports
c) Welding map
d) As Built
e) Supports check list

15- Inspect the piping insulation

16- Inspect the piping painting
