Title: Senior RM Market Purchasing Engineer ( Raw Material)
Job Description:
1. Survey the market to identify & recommend the most appropriate suppliers matching company standards, requirements & objectives.
2. Assist in evaluating the capability and performances of suppliers (technical, financial and quality wise) in co-ordination with concerned Dept.’s and recommend the selected ones to be recorded in the approved suppliers list.
3. Negotiate with selected suppliers to achieve optimization of quality to price ratio as well as appropriate contractual terms.
4. Transfer the complete file of selected suppliers to logistics dept. to procure company industrial needs as well as to assist logistics dept. to solve problems with such suppliers.
5. Take corrective & preventive actions towards supplier’s nonconformities to ensure quality, delivery and implementation of contractual obligations.
6. Issue purchase orders and ensure suppliers compliance till delivery to cover company requirements of service, consumable and maintenance material/ tools.

Job Description:
1. Receiving purchase requisitions and sorting them to make a report
2. Contact suppliers for quotations
3. Follow up technical departments approval for quotations send from suppliers
4. Negotiation with suppliers
5. Issuing purchase order
6. Handling payment of orders whether T/T, CAD and/or L/C
7. Follow up suppliers’ shipping documents
8. Follow up banks to implement T/T and L/C and getting copy of faxes
