Professional Experience
I am Rosario Sanchez Flores. I am the Political Affairs Director of the State of Coahuila in Mexico and was the Binational Water Liaison between Texas and the Border States during my Ph. D in Water Management and Hydrological Sciences at Texas A&M University. Today, I work as a foreign affairs advisor of a federal representative of my State in the Mexican Congress. My experience and expertise is concentrated on planning and management of water resources, either locally or transboundary, international relations and political affairs. At the same time, my Masters Degree on Diplomatic Studies and Financial Administration have helped me to develop negotiation and efficiency skills that could be very well applied in the water business.
I consider my profile unique given that I have the scientific base and the planning experience in the public sector and at the same time, the policy expertise to effectively negotiate among different sectors, areas and stakeholders.
