Additional Information
My power plant career began immediately after I graduated from university in 1991. Today, I continue to work as a Power Plant Chemist. Over the past 18 years, I have worked in various types of power plants including Oil fired, Gas fired, combine cycle, and simple cycle steam turbine.
At present; I’m working in 2000 MW CCGT Mesaieed Power Company, Qatar as Plant Chemist in fact the Lead chemist and 4 lab chemist reports to me and I’m working under Operation manager.
My experience includes a position as a Plant Chemist in Operation and Maintenance Process control of Water Treatment, Sea water RO, Cooling Tower, Surface and Waste Water Treatment, Clarifier and chemistry control system for Power generation station.
I prefer to maintain Boiler Chemistry with AVT (All Volatile Treatment) Only Ammonia, as per the required of Drum pH I recommended to dose only Tri- Sodium phosphate in intermittent mode.
I have a great deal of experience with calibration, test run and commissioning of Polymetron/HACH on line Instrument for Silica, Sodium, Dissolved Oxygen, Free Chlorine, pH, Conductivity, Hydrazine and Phosphate of the Power Plant Generating system.
In addition I’m a good laboratory Chemist. For monitoring the quality of Feed water, steam, condensate water is also important to know whether the Makeup chemistry is performing well.
