Design for Manufacturing Engineer
•Provide continuous support and implement optimizations to existing production by creating Engineering Change Requests (ECR).
•Interact with vendors and manage troubleshooting of any issues on a daily basis.
•Help manufacturing team with their existing manufacturing & production issues related to mechanical parts.
•Maintaining production reliability above 95%
•Work with new vendors to bring them up-to-speed with Schlumberger and its values, quality and ethics. Also handling waivers/concession and Report Of Nonconformance's
•Improve manufacturing environment by actively participating in Loss Prevention Team ,LPT team (member since 2006)
•Responsible of approving and signing off on Engineering Change Order’s (ECO) of new projects.
•Ensure quality by creating and dispositioning Report of Non Conformance (RONs).
•The Return Asset Number (RANs) and Production have to be properly planned to provide a swift turnaround time and on time delivery.
•Manufacturing Intouch Help desk and Quest tickets have to be resolved and analyzed in a timely manner
•Active role in the commercialization of the new products on the Manufacturing side
•Execution of New Product Development Projects as a Design For Manufacturing
•Inter-department co-ordination for approval and implementation of the ECO & ECR
