Develop Occupational Health Policy and procedures according to local legislation and business requirements;
Arrange pre-employment and regular health screening of employees
Advise on the management of staff with long-term ill health issues and potential disability cases
Ensure that all injuries & work-related diseases are reported & investigated
Ensure that Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans are adequate to situation, updated, understood and regular tested
Ensure that Material Safety Data Sheets for dangerous/hazardous substances/materials are reviewed and relevant measures are provided
Ensure that health surveillance monitoring program is in place
Review medical statistics data and develop prevention measures for sickness absence
Maintain relevant records, undertake remote assessments of employees, arrange referral to physicians
