My background is as a time served Instrument Technician with over 23 years experience in an oil and gas environment, HNC in Engineering and NVQ level 3 qualified in Instruments and Control. For the last 6 years I have been specialising in Fire and Gas, responsible for the maintenance and repair of Fire and Gas detection/suppression systems to ensure compliance with set performance standards and verification schemes and liaising with HSE and Independent competent persons when auditing of these systems is required.
A Self motivated and pro-active team member with good Interpersonal and communication skills. Experienced in construction, commissioning and maintenance roles with good working knowledge of the processes involved on an offshore Oil & Gas production platform.
I have recently carried out an As Building Survey on the platform Cause and Effect Charts, testing through to end elements to bring these charts up to date. In my current role there are limited prospects for development and I would like the opportunity to expand my knowledge and advance my career
