· Identification of new potential suppliers for Global/ Indian Projects for various Mechanical and electrical Commodities of Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Aerospace, Nuclear Power Plants, Turbo Generators etc.
· Review contract documents to ensure identification and comprehension of quality requirements.

· Responsible for overseeing all QA/QC activities. Shall have experience in the development, implementation and use of process quality control documents; Quality Manuals, Quality Plans, Procedures, Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans.
· To Check the fit-up stage, In-Process and Final inspection of welding that which requires the use of caliper, micrometer, Hi-Low gauge, Digital Thermometer, Filler gauge, etc.
· Thorough knowledge about welding processes like SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and SAW.
· Inspection of all welding works in the project covering pressure piping in accordance with approved WPS/PQR and application Industry code practice ie., ASME sec IX, II, ANSI B31.3, B31.8, B31.4 .
· Inspection for offshore drilling pipes, tests like Radiography, Magnetic particle inspection Dye penetration & Ultrasonic Testing.
· Exposure to ISO 9001 2000 Quality Management systems, internal audits.
· Exposure to Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
