Supervise and coordinate all aspects of inspections on two projects for a Brazilian company. Interact with the vendor to ensure that quality is met such as scheduling, visual, dimensional and NDE. Attend all meetings between customer and vendors. Review and verify all documentation such as MTR’s, Data Books, results from testing labs on Mechanical properties of materials, all NDE reports and test procedures used. Performing daily inspections on Oil and Gas equipment (New construction) and ensuring the applicable codes are used. Providing a weekly schedule to the client for inspectors and scheduling inspectors for off site inspection activities. Conduct daily meetings with inspectors to assess any issues that may or have occurred. Review and verify Weld Procedure Specifications, review Inspection Test Plans for the projects and verify the witness and hold points. Witness and verify testing of equipment and procedures.
