• More than 13 years experience with good reputed and multiple organizations, in the Project Management, Design Engineering, Cost Estimation, Projects Planning, Installation of Electrical & Instrumentation System in Petrochemical, Refinery, Oil & Gas plants, Thermal Power Plants, Hydel Power Plants, Process Industry, Cement Industry, Food Industry and in Industrial Buildings.
• Full project lifecycle (from concept development to close out) management, developing effective solution analysis for best working practice, delegation, strategic development, client management, engineering, financial planning and management and implementing solutions to improve business efficiency and delivering cost savings.
• Coordinating and attending different technical aspects pertaining to various projects options/alternatives.
• Key person in a projects planning, execution, communication, shipments, third party inspections in a complete during project execution.
• Chair pre-inspection meeting (PIM) & kick-off meeting with vendors / contractors in order to clarify the technical & engineering issues of project.
• Compile project Weekly, Bi-Weekly & Monthly Report for different projects & to submit the higher management.
• Identify strategies, guidelines & prepare the project schedules.
• Handling projects from CDP stage till successful closeout of projects starting from CDP, FEEP, DEP, Inspection, Testing and commissioning.
• Have capability of review and approval of CDP, FEEP and DEP documents.
• Preparation of cost estimates for field development plans and Techno-economic feasibilities of the projects.
• Prepare & review of ITB documents, evaluation of bids and the Review of contracts for design consultant & construction contractors for EPC & unit rate based contracts.
• Preparation of indents for the procurement of required project materials, technical & financial evaluation of bids, preparation of bidder questionnaires and evaluation reports, review of purchase orders.
• Monitoring of procurement status and periodic updates for project material and inspection of materials on its receipt.
• Monitoring and Evaluation of project progress and coordination with the contractors regarding the issues of design engineering, procurements, installation, inspections, payments, punch lists, Material Reconciliation and other related matters.

I have over 13 years experience as Project Engineer, Design Engineer, Construction engineer and planning engineer. At present, I am working as Senior Project Engineer in Engineering and Project Manamgent Department in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia based company called SABIC http://www.sabic.com

My current role at SABIC Petrochemicals as a Sr. Project Engineer (Electrical & Instrumentation) is as under:

• Phase-6 (Commissioning & Start-Up)
• Phase-7 (Close Out & Post Investment Review)

I have extensive experience in project engineering, as well as a solid grounding in electrical engineering that has given me the ability to make better-informed decisions as a project engineer. In my current role, I have been responsible for the management of projects with a budget up to SAR 300 Million, and have managed a new extensions design, construction and installation. One of my biggest achievements was “FEEP Study for Major Revamp Project”.
