Career Objective
I have recently taken early retirement from the position of Refinery Lead Planner/Scheduler for Turnarounds, Major Maintenance and base load maintenance. I am seeking opportunities to utilise my skills, knowledge and experience.
Professional Experience
Recent planning projects have included Turnarounds on Pipe Stills, Cat Cracker, Steam Cracker, Machinery and E&I and planning & scheduling for refinery and chemical plants on base maintenance programs as define in the maintenance strategy. I have 27 years experience in the oil and gas industry, and more recent roles include: Lead Planner/Scheduler Field Engineer, Execution Leader, Turnaround Area Manager.
I am experienced in the use of the Primavera P3 Planning/scheduling tool and use the Microsoft family tools of Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
I possess excellent management and people skills, and am able to handle large volumes of work whilst adhering to tight time lines and schedules to safely meet operational requirements.
I have extensive experience in Plant safety, ranging from work permit procedures, lock out/tag out, writing Task Based Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Personal Safety Plans, incident investigations and general plant safety associated with the oil and gas industry.
