• August 2003 – present: Senior Geologist
Employer: Baker Atlas, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.
Main Duties: I process and interpret borehole image logs (Wireline & LWD) and generate reports which are include interpretation and analysis results supported with statistics, figures and enclosures. I have worked with data from different fields and formations (carbonate deposits, clastics and basement rocks) from UAE, Kuwait, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Pakistan and Russia. I have worked with single and multiple wells both as a team member and on my own. I also help with acoustic log processing and analysis (full wave analysis, monopole and dipole) whenever needed.
Other responsibilities: I am looking after Baker Atlas borehole image activities in Abu Dhabi and supporting Middle East Region and occasionally some other districts. I am leading a team of three Geologists and one Log Analyst in Abu Dhabi and one Geologist in Yemen and am responsible for their career development plans.
Achievements: The first borehole image analysis multi-well study by Baker Atlas for ADCO (September 2009) after three months of negotiation, the results were up to the client’s expectations and a letter of appreciation was received.

Main Duties: I was a team member of four Geophysicists established who a small company working in ground water exploration. Our main task was to locate water and estimate the depth and quantity as well as the best location to drill the well.
