Title: Material Controller
Duties
•Responsible for Management of warehouses, guaranteeing reception, storage, preservation and distribution of materials.
•Monitoring of deadlines and the notification of delays in the delivery of materials by suppliers, to request the intervention of the organs responsible.
•To guarantee the materials are checked in compliance with established specifications.
•To co-ordinate the organization of storage facilities and to ensure their optimal positioning in terms of cost efficiency and geographical coverage.
•To ensure correct taking of inventories and the notification of obsolete materials for elimination.
•Initiate requisition for replenishment and liaise it with procurement department for expediting in the procurement.
•Liaison with quality control & engineering department for procurement & monitoring staff daily routine work and correspondence.
