Within both theme parks, I am responsible to weld, repair and fabricate various high pressure hydraulic lines, animatronics, and structural steel roller coasters. On an ongoing basis I have improved animatronics and structural steel components to make them more structurally and mechanically sound. I am called upon on a regular basis to replace sections of the roller coaster tracks as well as high pressure hydraulic lines. With my regular contributions, my team has consistently exceeded the company’s goal of having no down time on the park’s rides. I also perform NDT inspections with die penetration testing, and magnetic particle testing equipment.
