The goal of the internship was to locate the secondry fault zone in argillites formation. The work was comprised of seismic data processing and subsurface imaging of a 2D profile. My work was comprised of the following parts : describing the geology of the area, defining the geometry of the 2D profile, filling the header with geometry informations, first break picking, refraction
analysis by linear regression. The results obtained from these processes were then used to create the near surface model and then to calculate static correction. This work was then further followed by filtering and muting of the data. The subsurface imaging was done by using non conventional imaging method, CRS Stack ( common reflection surface stack ).

Land mark resources of Pakistan is a leading technology company with expertise in developing and implementing advanced
solutions for storage, processing, simulation and integration of sub-surface data.In this company i have worked in the
department of data management as a geophysicist. The work was composed of sorting different type of well and seismic data
and to load them on the server by using software Petrobank.

I worked as a site and logistic supervisor for the construction of containers hospital in September 2005 after the great earth quick in Pakistan.

With BGP international i worked in the field of Kohat Pakistan for the period of six months. The work was comprised of siesmic data acquisition and on site processing.

The internship was comprised of a brief introduction to the techniques used in structural and stratigraphic interpretation, examples taken from the real data.

09.2008 - 07.2009 Professional Master, Exploration Geophysics, Pau, France.
The curriculum included seismic data interpretation, seismic data processing, VSP, porous media and its properties, non
conventional imaging methods, structural and stratigraphic interpretation, programing in Seismic Unix, Fortran and Scilab and university project of seismic data interpretation of a 2d profile of deep offshore (Angola) in collaboration with French oil company Total. A part from that there were few extensive courses on project management, project building and art of giving presentations.

The curriculum included geophysics, environment, hydrology and geology. Along with the course work, there were study trips arranged by university to visualise the different geological formations and outcrops. A written thesis in collaboration with oil company (Oil and gas development company of Pakistan) was also the part of this course
