Schlumberger Oilfield Services, Ltd., Aberdeen, UK (2009)
Wireline Field Engineer training. Exposure to wireline operations in Congo, North Sea, and United Arab Emerites. Intensive academic and practical training for open hole well evaluation (Peptec-1). Hands on experience in advanced wireline technology, winch operation and general oilfield services.
UC Davis Geology Department Stable Isotope Lab (2006-2008)
Working with duel inlet mass spectrometers (Optima, Finnagin MAT 251, and GV Isoprime). Sample types include carbonates and water samples being analyzed for stable isotope ratios of hydrogen, carbon, and oxygen. Confident in troubleshooting and minor repairs. Responsible for training undergraduates and new junior technicians. Core sampling aboard R/V Melville in Santa Barbara Basin.
Research diving and lab technician. San Diego State University (2005-2006)
Working with kelp forest ecology in Southern California and Baja California, Mexico. Duties included dive control, sample collection, and testing operation of ultrasonic communication gear. Involved extensive field work in remote locations.
