AsRig Mechanic-:Report to the Tool Pusher, lead a team of 2, responsible for the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting & rebuilding of Rig Equipment and to ensure the availability of all machines and equipment during Rig Operations.Ensure the good working order of Caterpillar Engine, Air Compressors, Top Drives, BOP & Accumulator, Centrifugal Pumps, Mud Pumps, Tongs, Draw-works, Agitators, Power Swivel, Rotary Table, Power Packs (DG sets) and other rig handling equipment.Forecast the requirement of spare parts based on estimated machine running hours and stock accordingly with care to reduce inventory to optimum levels.Reduce downtime in the event of unexpected breakdowns and put the machine back into operation in the quickest possible time.
Eductation
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering – Bangalore University-Karnataka -India.
Certification
1) Top drive training.
2) Caterpillar 3500 series.
3) Under water surival/
4)Fire fighting & H2S.
