Harry is a qualified Mechanical Engineer with over 35 years experience in the Construction and Production Industry gained working on a variety of significant projects in the Middle East and Africa, Europe and South East Asia.
Harry commenced his engineering and construction specialisation in 1976 on major sugar refining and cement plant complexes projects in East Africa. Harry moved to the UK and joined Foster Wheeler in 1988 through to 2005 as a member of the Construction Contracts Group where his workscope covered the full spectrum of contracts for construction work and services in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Chemicals and Utilities' sectors of the process industries, as well as other heavy engineering projects. The experience with Foster Wheeler covered all aspects of Contracts Administration within the Procurement and Construction functions right across the various phases of Project Execution that included PMC Services. Since the beginning of 2005, Harry took up a permanent position of a Senior Contracts Management Specialist within the Government of Dubai’s 300 mm cfpd gas and 20,000 bpd condensate producing organisation. Harry, following a Royal Decree combining Dubai’s gas and condensate production business with its gas import and distribution department, now heads the Contracts & Procurement Department of the restructured larger business of Dubai Supply Authority

Harry prior to Dubai successfully completed several overseas assignments with Foster Wheeler in the UAE (ADNOC), Thailand (EXXON), Pakistan (ICI), Philippines (SHELL), Kuwait (KNPC) and Scotland (SHELL). In the Philippines, Harry managed all contract work for the Shell Malampaya Onshore Gas Project. In Kuwait, Harry was a key member of a team of specialists performing PMC responsibilities for contracts/procurement operations for a major refinery reconstruction project. In Scotland, Harry identified significant savings for Shell’s Goldeneye Project at St. Fergus.
Harry set up a Contracts & Procurement Department for a newly acquired government gas field gas & condensate production and distribution facility (ex-BP concession) in Dubai within a multi-cultural business environment. Harry managed contracts and procurement of turnkey drilling & exploration (including CTUBD), gas import, booster compression, Gas Control Station expansion, new pipelines and offshore LNG import and re-gasification facilities.
Harry's varied project and operational experience, his commercial, administration, social and communication skills qualify him to champion any project team. Harry's engineering background and worldwide experience provide him with a solid working knowledge of the functional Project Engineering, Cost and Controls Engineering and QA/QC Engineering.
Harry has extensive experience in the use of MS Office 2007. He can also demonstrate knowledge of using Project Planning packages.
