Mining & Petroleum Geologist Engineer

27 years experience, firstly with BRGM (mines) and Elf Aquitaine (now TOTAL), finely as a consultant for several companies in the sector of exploration production and data management;

- 1979 1982: Cameroonian Ministry of Mines and Water. With the French BRGM, I researched the solid mines (cupper, iron and uranium...) in the south of Cameroon and in Orleans in France.

- 1982 1996: In Cameroonian branch of French Elf Aquitaine (now TOTAL):
* 1982 1986: wellsite geologist in the offshore and onshore oil and gas basins of Cameroon

* 1986 1990: Synthtetic studies of oil and gas basins in the golfe of Guinea, supervising the Subsurface Service in charge of log and geological control of drillings.

* 1990 1996: Ceation, loading and management of geology and log databases in Cameroon and Pau in France.

- Since 1996: Consultant, have worked with companies like French Petrosystems, English ParadigmGeo, Cotco for Chad/Cameroon pipeline, Cezt Geofyzica for seismic acquisition, Kare SA from Suisse, Bowleven in it's Cameroonian branch: EurOil oil & gas and now Somoil, a private E & P branch of national oil company of Angola Republic, Sonangol.

- 1999 to August 2006: I returned in the Ministry of Mines of Cameroon as Expert Consultant for management of their mining domain and attribution of permits to operators. at the same time as Consultant with the Cameroonain National Hydrocarbon Corporation (SNH), I contributed at the put up of their National Data Center and interpretation with some softwares like Geolog6, Stratimagic, ...

- From August 2006 to October 2007, I was Consultant for the Cameroonian branch of the English Bowleven Plc company, involved in many aspects of their activities as welsite geologist, operations geologist, wells implementation, well analysis, training of their young geologists and geophysicists, etc... and many relations with Cameroonian authorities.

- Since June 2008, I am involved, as Wellsite Geologist, to a large programme of drilling of about 20 wells on the onshore Soyo in the North of Angola with the National Sonangol company in it's private branch of Somoil.
On these wells, we must drill a pilot hole and a horizontal drain more than 400m lenght in the upper Pinda albian dolomitic level. The probleme is to start the drain from a good landing point.
