Career Objective
Following 15 years as a teacher trainer, line manager and education consultant, I wish to further develop my career in a new environment. My aim would be to design and manage English skills projects for oil companies in the Middle East.

August 2008 – Present: Teacher / Teacher Trainer, British Council Teaching Centre, COLOMBO. In Colombo as well as teaching every level of course and being involved as an examiner in the whole ESOL suite, I am the TKT course teacher training course for local T of Es. I have managed several development projects for the teaching centre.
September 2005 – 2006: Exams Co-ordinator / Teacher of English, British Council Teaching Centre, BUDAPEST. As exams co-ordinator I line managed a small group of experienced EFL teachers. I delivered exams INSETTs and seminars to teachers and local customers. I taught as well as regularly examined at YL, CPE, CAE and FCE ESOL exams levels.
June – July 2002: Senior Teacher / Co-ordinator of Young Learner TT Programme: Concorde International, Canterbury, UK. I devised and delivered a programme of teacher training to Spanish secondary and primary school teachers of English. Working with a group of experienced staff from varying backgrounds.
August 1997 – October 1999: Communication Consultant CPLS, Eindhoven. Eindhoven houses the biggest business centre in Europe. CPLS is one of the very few companies of its kind able to sell highly specialised communication consultancy to Dutch companies requiring a service tailored closely to their precise business needs. Henry worked as consultant supporting a range of international companies and organisations.

Henry’s latest project saw him working with David Valente providing support in the design of materials in China as part of a project sponsored by the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy/Consulates (the UK’s international organisation for educational and cultural relations). The project aimed to bring the most up-to-date English teaching knowledge and methodology to English teachers in China.
