POSITION: PIPING/STRUCTURAL WELDING INSPECTOR (OFFSHORE)

• Performing inspection on welds, piping fabrication and structural fabrication making sure that they are being done as specified in (AFC) drawing.
• Performing site Construction Assessment Check on welding activities.
• Inspection of offshore installations of piping spools for first alternative gas on the EAP-EPC4 Project.
• Retrofit and revamp of the offshore platforms.
• Performing inspection on cellar deck fabrication.
• Witnessing procedures qualification records (PQR) and welder qualification test (WQT).
• Monitoring of welder qualification test for both pipe and structural fabrication using AWSD1.1, ASMEIX, API 1104, API Rp2a, Etc.
• Verifying that materials that being use for the work is Specified in the (AFC) drawing.
• Performing dimensional control verifications before, during and after welding.
• Performing construction/process assessment by the help of specified check sheet such as welding consumable storage and issue, material identification and traceability, process control etc.
• Witnessing and monitoring progress on the project phases and assuring that they meet requirements and specification by (EMDC).
• Witnessing of Hydro-test of fabricated spools
• Witnessing and monitoring repair marking and repair welding
• Verify weld parameters as per WPS requirements during welding
• Witnessing of Mechanical tests, and Pre-heat treatment is in accordance with Procedures and specifications
• Verification/Witnessing of NDT reports.
