Professional Experience
Chemical Engineer with 8 years of experience in process area, executing projects in Oil Production, Refinement, Gas and in the manufacturing area. I had been responsibilities in the following activities: Compilation of field information, document elaboration of processes discipline: Bases and Design Criteria, Material’s Balances, Processes Description, Lines and relief valves sizing, Lines Lists and Interconnections, Summary services, Operation Philosophy and Control, Descriptive Memories, Preparation of Process flow diagrams, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams, Calculations and hydraulic evaluations, Operational Philosophies, Equipment data Sheet.
Equipments design and Sizing: Pipeline’s gas evaluation, two-phase and three-phase separators, Tanks, Drums, Pumps, Knockout Drums, Heat exchangers, Determination of loads of lightening for PSV, Flare, Sizing and Evaluation of Condensed System, Stations Design of Measurement and Gas Regulation. Operation Manual for units Refinery: Alquilation guide, FCC guide, Atmospheric Distillation guide, Sour Water guide, Gas Plants Processors, and Insecticide Plants. Preparation of guides to carry out precommissioning and commissioning activities for Alquilation unit, Industrial Services and FCC unit.
Abilities: Handling of the packages of simulation: HYSIS, PIPEPHASE, PRO II, GASNET, KOCH-GLITSCH, INPLANT and ESI. And the other hands: PDVSA, API, ASME, ANSI, SHELL, GPSA, AGA, REPSOL, TECNICAS REUNIDAS, ENAP and INITEC norms. Ample experience in the handling of computation tools: Windows and Microsoft Office 2000: Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Project 2000. Programming in MATLAB, Internet Explorer.
Two years of experience as Technician in Chemical Processes for Petroleum’s of Venezuela (PDVSA INTEVEP) in the Investigation and Development area. Nine months of experience as Laboratory Analyst to pharmaceutical industry SMITHKLINE BEECHAM VENEZUELA in the Quality Control area.
