I would like to pursue a career in the chemical or process related industries including manufacturing, control or operating, production, design of process plants and management of a plant.

I worked as a line operator at Johnson Matthey and I am working at Mintek as a chemical technician on a month to month contract. I have completed a contract with consol plastic as a team leader for plant operators before it closed. I have understanding of specific plant operations. I have understanding of processes and equipments (items in isolation), I have understanding of applied technology, and I can read the P&ID diagrams and process flow diagrams. I have experience in controlling/operating the process using the PLC devices and manual. I have experience in using the following control systems, PULSE and MOC. I have understanding of nuclear and conventional safety standards and regulations; I have a well understanding of the SAP, ISO 9001, ISO140001, SHEQ, HAZOP , OHS and Risk assessment. I have good knowledge of BOMs. I have the attention to detail, I am investigative, and I have the drive and energy in meeting objectives. I am good with numbers; I have good communication skills including report writing. I am good with using information technology. I have good computer skills, I have experience in using MS word, excel, power point, outlook express and internet
