• Operates, controls and participates, as instructed by the Senior Operator or Field Production Supervisor, in the process and utilities operational areas to ensure safe and efficient start-up and shutdown of oil and gas plants, glycol dehydration process trains, glycol regeneration units, instrument air compressors, chemical storage and injection packages, power generators, utility water system, potable water system, produced water treatment unit, closed and open drains system, firewater and safety systems are in accordance with standard procedures and manufacturers' specifications.
• Carry out detailed visit of rotary and static equipments like pumps, compressors, vessels, heat exchangers etc to check running parameters and adjustments if required.
• Logs operating events occurring during shit for records and for counterpart on the next shift, and discusses incidents with supervisor.
• Issue work permits and acts as isolation authority during maintenance jobs on any process equipment. Prepare equipment while handing over for any maintenance activities, and commissions back after maintenance job.
• Ensures proper housekeeping after completion of any maintenance job keeping work area clean, tidy and safe to work.
• Controls the injection rate of all plant chemicals to ensure safe and proper control of oil/gas quality and minimize corrosion.
• Looks for any modification / improvement in the system design to increase productivity /safe operation.

High school or equivalent (Physics, Maths, Chemistry)
GPA: 74.0%

Field operator training.
Production operator-1 Training
Permit to work and Energy isolation.
Control of work standared.
First Aid training
Basic Fire fighting
Visual Tank inspection.
